Polaroid 4000 brush
A PDF containing instructions and images of the cleaning brush distributed by Polaroid for servicing the 4000 film scanner. File courtesy of Don Denburg, following on discussions on the films canners mailing list.
The brush is intended to clean the optical film carrierl position sensor which accumulates dust over time and leads to carrier loading problems.
Don says "cleaning is done with power off and pushing the carrier through from front to back".
At 2008 the brush no longer appears to be available.
